This cinematic Rawlings campaign follows Dexter McCleon Jr. and Leo Garcia, two elite prospects whose journeys are shaped by pressure, grit, and relentless preparation. A reflective announcer’s voice guides the story, while immersive sound design syncs with the rhythm of their grind through game sounds, repeated reps, and quiet moments of focus.
The film is a tribute to the unseen work it takes to rise at the highest level. Early mornings, dry swings, bullpens, and countless hours of repetition separate good from great. Every moment is grounded in authenticity, capturing what life truly looks like for rising players chasing the next level.
The campaign also serves as a product-forward showcase of Rawlings, highlighting the gloves and gear trusted by the next generation of stars and introducing the new Clout. Rather than forcing the product into the story, the Clout bat is woven naturally into the performance, reinforcing the idea that confidence and results come from preparation.
Directed and creatively led by JJ Miller, the campaign balances cinematic storytelling with real moments from the game, focusing on effort over flash and substance over hype. It is a story about playing with clout built on grit, where the work shows up when the moment matters most.
